To our community-
Honestly, there is no proper way to explain this. On Monday night, January 3rd 2022 we lost a beloved member of our team here at NJ Steel Baron and, more importantly, of our family. Many of you know Brandi Coughlin as the voice answering so many of your shipping questions, fulfilling your material requests, and delivering consistent quality service for her many years here. We knew her as much more: an avid baker, horror film buff, caring friend, dog lover, devoted aunt, sister, and just one of the best humans you could ever meet.
We are in mourning. There is not a single person here who did not count Brandi as a close friend and confidant. We all know that she would want us to keep going no matter how much we may miss her.
She loved this place as well as the communities and people we have had the pleasure of meeting and helping along the way. We could not have gotten this far without her. We were blessed to have her in our lives for as long as we did. Even through her bouts of fighting off an auto-immune disease, she was a constant force here and never shied away from any challenge put before her.
She truly believed in the work we are doing, in building a community of craftsman, in building each other up. She will always be the gold standard for being a part of NJSB and, more importantly, has set the bar for what it means to be a great friend and human.
We ask that you bear with us as we navigate the next few days. No one really expects to lose someone at thirty-two years of age, let alone someone who has had such an impact on the lives of so many people. She leaves behind people who considered her part of their family as well as her loving partner, all who worked side by side with her here. We promise to keep moving as best we can and appreciate all your support.
Brandi, we love you and we will miss you.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 from 2PM-6PM. All are welcome to pay their respects.
